Three Thorndale basketball players were named to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Class 2A All-State team.
On the boys side, 6-foot-5 guards Ty Prince and Sam Reaves were named to the team for the second straight season.
Prince and Reaves guided the 34-4 Bulldogs to the state tournament for the third consecutive year where they lost in the title game.
Prince was named to the all-state tournament team.
Reaves, a junior, led Thorndale in scoring at 20.7 points per game with 7.4 rebounds.
He had a high game of 42 points in 2018 and did it twice.
The point guard Prince averaged 17.5 points a game, along with 9.8 rebounds, 7 assists and 3.1 steals.
Prince finished with 1,607 career points.
On the girls side, Kylie Buchanan was named to the TABC All-State team.
The 5-foot-8 senior led the 27-6 Lady Dogs to the regional quarterfinals, the furtherest they had gone since 2013.
Thorndale fell to eventual state champion Mason.
Buchanan averaged 22 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals per game as the District 25-2A most valuable player.
Buchanan has signed to play at Mary Hardin-Baylor in college.
