Milano baseball ended the past week with a twogame winning streak after trailing 9-6 to Granger going into the final inning Friday.
MHS won 10-9 after rallying with runners on base, leading to a game-winning single by Oscar Hernandez.
Three days before, Milano run-ruled Bartlett 11-1, getting revenge for a 10-6 loss Friday, March 19.
Bryson Richards led the way with three hits. Jason Avalos, Ethan Gordon, Marcos Ruelas, Weston Avrett, Julio Martinez and Hernandez each had a hit.
Avrett got the win with eight strikeouts in six innings pitched.
THIS WEEK—With a 2-3 record in district play, the Tigers faced Granger again Tuesday after press time and host undefeated Thrall Friday at 4:30 p.m.
LADY EAGLES—MHS fell 17-10 to Bremond at home Friday afternoon.
Toni Meyer led at the plate with two doubles and struckout 12 from the circle.
Aaliyah McBrewer, Heather Wall, Zoe Clore, Karyme Santana and Natalie Compton also had hits.
The Lady Eagles faced Holland Tuesday and head to Granger today for a 6 p.m. start.
