Eagles blanked by Burton

MILANO—The comeback kids got their feelings hurt on Friday night. Milano hosted Burton and got shut out 41-0.

The Eagles are trying to stay in position for a run at the playoffs and had won their last two games before this bully beat down. Milano is 3-5 overall and 2-3 in district.

It’s no surprise the Eagles had their hands full against the Panthers, Burton is tied for second place in District 13-2A DII at 4-1 with Granger and just one game behind undefeated Somerville who is 5-0.

THIS WEEK— T he Eagles will now go on the road against Bartlett who is 3-5 and 2-3.

The Bulldogs got beat by Somerville last week 15-0. Kick off is at 7 p.m.
