Eagles JV teams win first in Bremond Tiger Relays

BREMOND—Milano junior varsity boys and girls teams won top honors at the Bremond Tiger Relays on Feb. 27.

The boys’ junior varsity team scored 110 points and Bosqueville and Dawson tied for second with 107 points. The girls’ JV squad dominated the team standings by 36 points. They were first with 110 points and second was Iola with 74.

MHS varsity athletes brought home three gold medals. Jaden Carmichael took first in the high jump with a leap of 4-feet, 8-inches and Alijah Demeritt brought home two first place finishes for the boys in the 100 and 200 meter dashes with times of 11.08 and 23.60 respectively.
