Two former Milam County football players were named to the 2010s All-Decade Team by the Bryan-College Station Eagle. Jaquayln Crawford was named Second Team All-Decade and Kyle King was named First-Team All-Decade.

Crawford was a threeyear letter winner for Rockdale. During his time as a Tiger, he was named Texas Associated Press Sports Editors all-state defender. He made a name for himself at both wide receiver and defensive back with 53 total touchdowns, 2,569 receiving yards, 1,200 rushing yards and seven interceptions in his career.

Crawford earned the district 10-3A Most Valuable Player as a junior and Offensive Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore. His play secured him a 4-star rating on 24/7 sports.com, a recruiting website that ranked him as the number eight athlete in the country in 2018.

Crawford originally committed to the Oklahoma Sooners but transferred to the Arkansas Razorbacks a few months ago.

King was a three-time all-state punter for the Milano Eagles. He acquired all state honors at defensive back and quarterback. King obtained over 4,400 yards worth of punts in his high school career, averaging an incredible 44 yards per punt.

King remains the only player to make the All-Brazos Valley teams in football, basketball and baseball in the same year (2016-2017).

After high school, he attended Howard Payne University where he was named an All Southwestern Conference Honorable Mention as a punter. After the 2018 season, he transferred to Mary-Hardin Baylor University. King will be competing for playing time at quarterback and punter for the Crusaders this season.
