Thorndale loses two of the three games
It took all three games of a three-game series to push the Thorndale Bulldogs out of the high school baseball playoffs.
The Bulldogs were facing the Ganado Indians and, because of a game one loss, game two became an elimination game in this regional semifinal series.
GAME ONE— Game one’s final score ended 4-3 in Ganado’s favor.
GAME TWO— Thorndale came back in game two and won 12-1, the run rule was in effect.
Players of the game were Brenson Beran, who had two singles, a base on balls, scored a run and had three RBIs; Kaden Kovar, who contributed two singles, had a walk, scored three times and had an RBI; Gunner Ferguson, who was the winning pitcher, threw five innings, giving up five hits and one run with three strikeouts, he also hit a double and a single, had one walk, scored twice and had an RBI; and Kade Becker hit a single, had a walk and two RBIs.
GAME THREE— Game three, which unfortunately ended the season for the Bulldogs, finished with a 12-2 loss.
