Chris Gerren won the men’s division in last Saturday’s Rockdale Country Club annual club championship tournament. With a score of 149 he beat out 32 members competing in five different divisions. Jeff King was second on stroke behind Gerren.
Chad Barcak won the men’s handicap shooting a 142.8 defeating Billy Galbreath who shot a 144.2.
Bill Wadsworth won the senior division with a 141 to defeat Raymon Puente who ended the day with a score of
142. Monroe Jungmann was the champion of the super senior division with a score of 157 defeating Frank Amyx in a score card tiebreaker. John Magee defeated Willis Brewer by five strokes with 141 to win the super senior handicap division.
The RCC also gave awards to eight different players for their respective age groups. Austin Caffey won 29-and-below, Gerren won the 30-39, King was named top player ages 40-49, Jeff Miller won the 50-59, Randy Gilleland won the 60-64, Gerald Morton won the 65-69, Amyx won the 70-79 and Jungmann was the winner of the 80-and-over division.
