The Thorndale Bulldogs lost at home under the Friday night lights against a very good Granger Lion football team. The final was Granger 38, Thorndale 7.
Thorndale scored their only touchdown in the first quarter on a Jayden Clawson 13-yard run. Bulldog quarterback, senior Kaden Kovar threw for 82 yards and rushed for five.
Bulldogs Noah Crabtree and Jayden Clawson ran for a combined total of 30 yards and Bulldogs receivers Clawson, Gunner Ferguson, Crabtree and Brenson Beran had a total of 82 yards on 7 receptions.
Granger scored twice in the first quarter and they scored in every quarter. The Lions had both their pass and run game operating at full strength. Granger had 233 yards of rushing for the night along with 144 passing yards for a total of 377 offense yards.
COMING UP— The Bulldogs are 0-2 and will be expecting their first win of the season this Friday night on the road against the 2-0 Riesel Indians. Kick off is at 7:30 pm.
