The Rockdale JV gold team continued to establish themselves with a 21-6 victory over the Taylor Fish on Thursday.

The Tiger offense picked up where they left off last week with Bladyn Barcak resuming his stellar play. The Tigers got on the board first with Barcak throwing an 11-yard touchdown pass to Wyatt Windham. The extra point was no good. The Barcak-Windham connection struck again in the second quarter with a 48-yard touchdown pass and catch. The two-point conversion was missed again making the score 12-0 at the half.

In the second half, RHS Kemar Spencer returned the opening kickoff 65 yards for a touchdown. The extra point was good. The defense showed up on the scoreboard as Carson Eoff tackled a Duck player in the end zone for a safety resulting in the final score 21-6.

Offensive standouts included Barcak, Windham, Spencer and Isaiah Sauls. Defensive standouts included Eoff, Riley Spears, Sterling Prazak and Austin Goodman.

JV BLUE—For the Rockdale JV Blue, the Tigers showed improvements as their game against the Taylor JV Ducks ended in a 14-14 tie. The Ducks scored first on a 75-yard drive and earned the twopoint conversion to make the score 8-0. The Tigers responded in the 2nd quarter with Cedric Mitchell scoring a touchdown on a 3-yard run. The two-point conversion was no good.

In the fourth quarter, the Tigers took the lead with Chris Huff scoring a touchdown on a 20-yard run. Cedric Mitchell ran the ball for the two-point conversion. The Ducks scored on a bad snap during a punt from Rockdale to score a touchdown making the score 14-14.

Offensive standouts included Ivan Bonner, Mitchell, Huff, Tristan Jackson and Lane Rickman. Defensive standouts include Luke Dafler, Jose Aboytes and Alex Ebba.
