The RHS JV Gold team continued their dominant season after earning a tough win against the Cameron Yoemen 15-6. With the win, the young Tigers are now 5-0 on the season and 2-0 in district play.

The Tigers got off to a fast start with quarterback Blaydn Barcak connecting with Wyatt Windham on a 10-yard touchdown pass.

In the second quarter, the Tiger defense came up with some key stops. With the Yoemen threatening to score in the red zone towards the end of the quarter, the Tigers were able to sack the quarterback and prevent a touchdown. The clock ran out with the score remaining 7-0 at the half.

In the third quarter, Barcak would strike again with a 38-yard touchdown run. Windham dialed up a pass to Dominique Clark for the two-point conversion.

The Yoemen responded with a touchdown of their own in the third quarter. The two-point conversion failed, thus making the score 15-6.

Both defenses played well in the fourth quarter with neither offense recording any points.

Offensive standouts included Kemar Spencer,

Gerren Marrero, Isaiah Saults and Noah Pastrano. Defensive standouts included Riley Spears, Dominique Clark, Marrero, Austin Goodman and Windham.

JV BLUE—The JV Blue team also traveled to Cameron to face the JV Yoemen. The Tigers came up short 31-6. The Tigers are now 1-3-2 on the season and 1-1 in district play.

The Tigers had no answer for the Cameron passing game. Through the first half, the Yoemen were able to score touchdowns on pass plays of 45, 10 and 40 yards. The score was 21-0 at the half.

The Tigers would get on the board in the third quarter as Cedric Mitchell connected with Tristan Galvan on a 50-yard touchdown pass. The two-point conversion was no good.

The Yoemen offense continued to roll in the third quarter by hitting a field goal and a 15-yard touchdown pass.

Both teams were held to zero points in the fourth quarter.

Offensive standouts included Mitchell, Luke Dafler, Chris Huff and Aiden Hirt. Defensive standouts included Huff and Alex Ebba.
