Going into halftime down by nearly 20 points to Class 4A Salado, the Lady Dogs basketball team was anything but finished.
In the second half, the Milam County squad chipped away at the Lady Eagle lead, coming within four points. SHS held off Thorndale in the end, winning 57-48.
COMING UP—T he Lady Dogs are off this week, but return home this Monday when they host the Thorndale Shootout.
