The MHS netters are now 6-6 on the season after splitting their two matches over the weekend.
On Saturday, the Lady Eagles traveled to Rosebud-Lott for a matchup against the Lady Cougars. After dropping the first two sets 5-25 and 14-25, the young lady stormed back and won the next three sets 25-22, 25-20 and 15-12.
McKenna Robertson led the Lady Eagles with 16 kills and 10 blocks. Peyton Robertson led the team in assist with 22.
McKenna Robertson and Montgomery Popham tied to lead the team with eight digs. Karyme Santana and Aaliyah McBrewer led the team in aces with two a piece.
On Tuesday, the Lady Eagles were defeated by the Thrall Lady Tigers in three sets 13-25, 13-25 and 14-25. McKenna Robertson led the Lady Eagles with six kills and three blocks while Peyton Robertson led in assist with 10. Santana led the team with eight digs and one ace.
The Lady Eagles will look to continue their win streak as they prepare to face the Granger Lady Lions on Saturday.
