Lady Tigers

The Rockdale Lady Tiger soccer program split games in their last week of play.

LAGRANGE— In a game at home against LaGrange they won in penalty kicks after the game was tied 2-2 at the end of regulation time. After 11 penalty kicks Big Blue prevailed.

This game had about a 20-minute delay before the half, when the Leopard goalkeeper went down with an injury and was eventually c arried o ff t he fi eld b y EMT’s and left in an ambulance. We hope this young lady is okay and good job Lady Tigers maintaining your focus.

MANORNEWTECH— The last game of the season was a road game against Manor New Tech and it ended in a loss.

The score was tied 1-1 after regulation but the Lady Tigers lost in penalty kicks.

FUTURE— There will be no post season play for this team, but we are grateful for their hard work all year long.

Tiger Nation is fortunate to have Coach Shirley Rodriguez leading this program and we are looking forward to next year!
