The Lady Tigers continue to take teams to the woodshed. They posted a 4-1 record and took second place in the recent Caldwell Tournament.
They beat Hearne 46-12, Snook 37-21, Burton 34-29 and Caldwell 37-31 and then finally took a loss against Lexington 34-23.
Recent standout players for the Lady Tigers are Trinity Hurd, Alli Lay and Ciara Miles.
Head girls’ basketball coach Danielle Froggatt said, “We are really pleased with these young ladies. It’s been a team effort and they have really played well.”
The Lady Tigers are now 7-1 for the season.
COMING UP— Fans will have the opportunity to see this varsity team play on Tuesday, Nov. 21, here at home against Brazos Christian. Game time is 10 a.m. for JV and 11:15 a.m. for varsity. Tiger Nation can see them again here at home on Tuesday, Nov. 28 against Normangee. JV will play 6:15 p.m. and varsity at 7:30 p.m.
JV— The sub-varsity Lady Tigers played in the recent Caldwell tournament and came out with a 1-2 record. They lost 40-16 against Burton. They won against Caldwell 16-7 and then lost a close game to Cornerstone Christian 35-34.
