The Lady Tigers began practices last Wednesday for hoopers not already playing volleyball.
Full team practices begin on Wednesday following the conclusion of volleyball season Tuesday night and they open their season on Friday, Nov. 8, at home against Austin’s St. Dominic Savio at 5 p.m. The Lady Tigers also play at home on Tuesday, Nov. 12, against Giddings. Tip-off for that game is at 5:15.
RHS is guided by second-year head coach Meredith Caffey and assistant coach Brian Thomas.
The boys’ basketball team began practice on Wednesday after press time. They are under the direction of new head coach Marcus McNeil, who comes from Weimar after a 2019 regional appearance.
