On Tuesday, the Lady Tigers traveled to Normangee to face off against a tough Lady Panthers team. They were defeated 52-27.
Julie Bartsch was the top performer in the contest with 10 points, 11 rebounds, and one block. Other team performances included: Saige Robertson with five points, six rebounds and one block; D’Erika Hurd had four points and two steals and Karli Marburger had two points and seven rebounds.
“We played a very talented state ranked team,” RHS Head Coach Meredith Caffey said. “Tough teams like this in non-district prepare you for your district. We are excited to get back to the gym and get to work.”
The Lady Tigers are now 1-2 on the season. They will look to return to their winning ways as they prepare to face the Milano Lady Eagles on Friday at home.
