Despite falling in three straight to rival Cameron in their first district match, each set was decided by two or three points.
The opening set was decided in a tie-breaker which the other team from Milam County won 27-25 before the two went neck-and neck in set number two. The Lady Yoe won that one 25-22. In the third and final game, Cameron won 25-23.
THIS WEEK— O n Tuesday after press time, the Lady Tigers traveled to Little River-Academy to face the Lady Bees in the first road district contest of the season.
They play in Rockdale again on Friday afternoon, when they host Lexington in the RHS Gymnasium.
Due to the Tiger football being more than 100 miles away, the Lady Tiger and the Lady Eagles will face-off at 3 p.m.
Ju n ior v a r s it y 1 i s scheduled to play after at 4:30 p.m., while JV2 will host Rogers on Thursday at 6 p.m.
