On Friday, Rockdale Lady Tiger soccer came up short to Manor’s New Tech High School, falling 2-0 after the Lady Titans scored twice in the second half.
Despite the loss in their 2022-23 finale, the Blue-and-Gold had many highlights throughout the year. This season was the first time the Lady Tiger soccer team had more than one district win and they were playoff contenders throughout much of this past winter.
Their District 26-4A record was 4-8 with wins over Caldwell, Smithville and Manor New Tech in a matchup earlier this season. The Lady Tigers are coached by San Marcos native Shirley Lozano.
