Although Rockdale basketball teams were not in action Friday evening, the Lady Tigers did take down rival Cameron 49-46 on the other side of the Little River last Tuesday.
The Blue-and-Gold was led by sophomore Ciara Miles, who had 20 points. RHS junior Julie Bartsch also broke double digits, scoring 12 in the Lady Tiger victory.
THIS WEEK—Rockdale faced Rogers on Tuesday after this week’s Reporter deadline and head to Lexington Friday. RHS beat the Lady Eagles 34-27 on Jan. 11.
Tip-off is scheduled for 6:15 p.m.
TIGERS—The Tigers were also off last Friday but fell to Cameron 100-32 last Tuesday. The Yoe currently sit in second place in district.
THIS WEEK—Like the Lady Tigers, the boys head to Lexington Friday where they will take on the Eagles following the conclusion of the girls’ game.
The Tigers played Rogers on Tuesday after press time. The two teams met earlier this season in Rogers, where the Eagles won 71-53.
