The Rockdale Lady Tiger volleyball team racked up first and second team All District 3A honors and received honorable mention nods, as well as, academic all-district awards from district coaches.
Senior outside attacker Kaylee Criswell was named to the first team by district coaches and seniors Lyndsey Kolar and Reese Weise received second team honors.
Payton Miller, Reyna Gonzalez and Kylie Eubanks received honorable mention and nine Lady Tigers were named to the Academic All District team. They were: Reyna Gonzalez, Kaylee Criswell, Ryanne Young, Kylie Eubanks, Reese Weise, Emily Depine, Payton Miller, Andrea Salazar and Haven Jimenez.
The Coach of the Year was Little River-Academy’s Elena Queen and district MVP was Lilli Stewart of Academy.
Offensive MVP’s were Shelby Ray of Lexington and Molly Tomlin of Troy and defensive MVP was Kyla Hulsey from Little River-Academy. Troy’s Savannah Sebek got the setter MVP honor and newcomer of the year was Graycee Mosley of Troy.
