LADY TIGERS VOLLEYBALL

The varsity Lady Tigers had a hard week dropping both games against the Taylor Ducks and the Bremond Tigers.

There is still some movement in personnel as they prepare for the district season opener. Lady Tiger Georgia Woodward has been moved out of her position as libero and is now playing all the way around as both an offensive hitter and defensive specialist. This is new for Woodward, she has never played front row in her career.

Former Tiger and Head Volleyball Coach Morgan Laughlin said she is, “Doing an outstanding job adjusting.”

Coach Laughlin added, “We have had quality practices, watching film and I believe we are in a good spot for our district opener in Cameron this Friday.”

Standout players for this Lady Tiger volleyball team this past week were Macy McDaniel, Halle Jimenez and Woodward.

JV— Lady Tiger JV1 volleyball team took second place in the Holland Tournament this past weekend. Congratulations to these Lady Tigers.

COMING UP— The Lady Tigers volleyball teams travel across the river to play in Cameron this Friday. Varsity play starts at 4:30 p.m., JV1 and JV2 at 6 p.m.
