Leschber among area’s top athletes

AUSTIN–This past week, recent Thorndale High School graduate Stryker Leschber was named to the Austin American-Statesman’s Top 50 Central Texas Athletes of the Year list.

Leschber, who will play for Columbia University (New York City) in the Ivy League this fall, was the 10th-ranked athlete on a list that included Manor’s Che Nwabuko, a three-time track and field state champion who will play football and join the track and field team at the University of Pittsburgh this fall.
