The Rockdale Lions Club will hold their annual golf tournament and helicopter golf ball drop on Saturday, Oct. 5. The tourney kicks off at 8:30 a.m., at the Rockdale Country Club. The entry fee per player is $65 which includes lunch, a cart and two mulligans that can be used at anytime. First place will be awarded $500, second place $200 and third wins $100. A silent auction and the helicopter ball drop will follow the tourney. Tickets for the drop are $10 per or $40 for five tickets. The grand prize is $500.
