MASON—The road trip to Mason was tough enough but then the Bulldogs had to face the Punchers in what proved to be a slugfest. The final score was Mason 59, Thorndale 14.
Mason has now outscored their competition 253-92 and has only lost one game this year and it was against the Wall Eagles that were undefeated in district last year and were region finalists.
KEYS— Key plays/players against Mason were: Jayden Clawson who caught a 47-yard touchdown pass from Gunner Ferguson and Cole Harkins who scampered eight yards into the end zone to score in the fourth quarter.
THIS WEEK— No doubt this week’s loss will not keep the Bulldogs down. Expect a reset as they travel to San Saba to take on the Armadillos who are 1-0 in district and 4-2 overall. Kick off is at 7 p.m.
