Things have been looking pretty good for Milano High School Class 0f 2018 graduates Tim Demeritt Jr., and Kyle King.
On Feb. 25, Demeritt won a gold medal for Prairie View A&M University at the Southwest Conference Championship as well as a bronze in the mile relay.
He is a junior kinesiology major with plans to attain a masters following graduation. Last week, his former classmate and fellow member of the first ever MHS state championship track team Kyle King was named University of Mary Hardin-Baylor’s “TRU to the CRU” Player of the Week after completing seven of eight passes and scoring three touchdowns in UMHB’s 52-7 victory over Southwestern on Feb. 27.
He has a total of 281 yards three games into the season while sharing snaps with Tommy Bowden.
King is a physical education major.
