Milano High School’s basketball teams made their way up to Holland this Friday where the Eagles fell 64-54 to the Hornets.
Bryson Richards led with 15. Jayce Todd and Weston Avrett had 12.
The Lady Eagles also left Bell County with a loss, losing 51-19 to the eighthranked team in Class 2A.
Laynie Rose and Aaliyah McBrewer were the top scorers with six points a piece. Montgomery Popham had five points and Natalie Compton had two.
THIS WEEK—After press time, both teams hosted Thrall Tuesday and the Lady Eagles were host to Thorndale a day later for a game that was originally scheduled for Jan. 8.
They play next Friday at Granger.
Tip-off for the girls is at 6 p.m. The boys start right after.
