MHS teams fall in Thorndale

Milano’s Lady Eagle basketball team wrapped up district play on Tuesday night with a 70-29 loss to first place Thorndale on Tuesday night.

Leading scorers for MHS were sophomore McKenna Robertson with 12 points and Kristian Taylor had nine.

Kaitlyn Telg scored five and Bethanie Compton had three.

The Lady Eagles faced a tough road in district after losing starting point guard and leading scorer Sage LoBue on Friday, Jan. 3 to a season-ending ACL injury.

EAGLES–The Eagles also fell to Thorndale with a 57-33 loss.

LAST WEEK–Milano lost to third-ranked Hearne on Friday 91-36.

THIS WEEK–They play next on Friday in Thrall before finishing their 2019-2020 season at Holland on Tuesday.

Both games start at 6:30 p.m.
