Lady Eagle and Lady Dog basketball ended their regular season with both squads headed to the post-season.
Thorndale ended their district campaign on Tuesday evening with a 78-23 home win over Granger.
Finishing with a record of 9-1, the Lady Dogs are tied for first with Hearne. Since Thorndale split with HHS, a winner of the District 27-2A hasn’t been declared and whether a first place game will be played or not has yet to be decided.
MILANO—The Lady Eagles ended district play with a 42-21 win in Thrall Monday night, earning their first trip to the play offs since the 2018-19 season.
MHS finishes with a record of 4-6, tying with Holland for third place. Like Hearne and Thorndale, the Lady Eagles went 1-1 against the Lady Hornets this season and will have to pick a winner later in the week.
