As of Saturday afternoon, Lady Eagle volleyball is on a two-game winning streak after sweeping Buckholts 25-11, 25-12, 25-13.
Malinda Gordon and Karyme Santana led at the net with five kills each. Other top performers were Peyton Robertson with three kills and 12 assists and Aaliyah McBrewer with seven digs and an ace.
Four days before, MHS took down Granger in a nail-biter 28-26, 25-23, 13-25, 21-25, 15-12.
Robertson led the Lady Eagles with 14 kills, 18 assists and four aces.

THIS WEEK—The Lady Eagles traveled to Holland to play the Lady Hornets after press time and host Thorndale on Saturday afternoon.
