MILANO HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL/SOFTBALL

The Milano Eagles baseball team (R) went 2-0 last week after defeating Round Top Carmine. Milano defeated the Cubs at home 12-2 and then on the road 12-0.

The Eagles are now 7-5-1 over all and 0-2 in district.

THIS WEEK— Next up are back-toback games against Iola (9-3, 3-1). Milano was scheduled to play on the road Tuesday (after The Reporter deadline) and then will host Iola at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

Lady Eagles

The Milano Lady Eagles softball team went 0-2 last week, losing on the road, 4-0, to Burton and to Thrall, 7-1.

The Lady Eagles are 4-1 in district and 7-7 overall.

COMING UP— Milano was scheduled to play in Snook on Tuesday (after The Reporter deadline) and at home against Mumford at 6 p.m. Friday.
