The gym is not being kind to the Milano Eagles this winter. They are currently at 1-8 and just had a rough time playing in the Cameron Tournament.
Before playing in the Cameron Tournament the Eagles were on the road against Valley Mills and lost a close game 46-44. No doubt this gave the Eagles some confidence going into what turned out to be a long weekend with losses to C. H. Yoe High School 50-30, Columbus 49-30, Mumford 47-25 and Hempstead 47-32.
COMING UP— The Eagles will now face Snook, Lago Vista and Bartlett.
Lady Eagles
The Lady Eagles are 8-6 so far this basketball season. They went on the road recently and lost to a 7-5 Burton team 55-48 before playing in the Bruceville-Eddy Tournament. They went 3-1 in the tournament beating Mart 32-25, Chilton 40-28 and the Veritas Academy out of Austin 38-37. Their only loss came against the 13-4 Hill Country Christian School of Austin. The final of this game was 52-34.
COMING UP— This team will now head to Thorndale before they play Granger at home and then travel to Bartlett.
