McDADE— The Milano Lady Eagles traveled to McDade and played in their first district game of the season. They came home with the win, 44-39.
THORNDALE— Milano then hosted neighboring Thorndale and lost 39-21.
The Lady Eagles are now 1-1 in district and traveled to Granger just before the Christmas break.
COMING UP— On Friday, they will compete in the Mumford Tournament.
