MILANO LADY EAGLES BASKETBALL

The Lady Eagles basketball team is on the victory train. They are 3-0 this season and have defeated Dime Box this year, 44-22, Rosebud-Lott, 49-27 and most recently they defeated Somerville in a huge victory, the final was 50-7. The JV squad is 1-0 - they beat Rosebud-Lott 18-16.

Seniors Kadence Koenig led the team in scoring against Somerville with 14 points and Peyton Robertson put 13 points on the board. Last year the Lady Eagles finished the season 12-18 overall and fifth in district at 5-7. Head Coach Matthew Hernandez said, “We have most of the team returning which is a good thing, but we are also having to learn an entirely new system, so it will take some time for us to continue getting better.”
