On Friday afternoon, Rockdale’s Wendell “Chuck” Mitchell Jr. announced that he had signed a contract with Prishtina B.C. of Kosovo.
Mitchell, the son of Wendell and Sharee Mitchell of Rockdale, was a four-year starter for the Blue-and-Gold and was a playmaker just down the road for the Texas A&M basketball team.
As an Aggie, he averaged 10.2 points per game and 1.9 assists.
Kosovo, the country he will play in, is a land-locked nation northeast of Albania on the other side of the Adriatic Sea from the southeastern coastline of Italy.
