The No. 1 ranked Thorn-dale Lady Dogs rolled over Holland 13-1 Tuesday night to officially seal up the district championship
The Lady Dogs head into the post season with a 22-1-1 overall record after a 14-0 mark in District 27-2A.
Allison Betak was hot at the plate and led the Lady Dogs offensively with four hits against Holland
Thorndale got started offensively with an RBI ground out by Riley White.
The Lady Dogs offensive warmed up and delivered four more runs in the top of the second.
The runs were driven in by Betak, Bigan, and Bailey White. Riley White retired three in a row in the top of the third.
Riley White, Kelm, Flores and Paulsen each drove in a run in the bottom of the third.
Betak drove in the lone run in the top of the fourth.
Bailey White came in for relief in the bottom of the fourth and the Hornets remained scoreless.
Neither team scored in the fifth and the Lady Dogs ended the game on top.
Thorndale bashed Bartlett in 11-0 in 6 innings.
Kelm and Bailey White led the Lady Dogs with two hits for the night.
Lauren Newton, Madison Flores, Bigan and Riley White each contribute one hit.
Bailey White had a two RBI night and Caitlin Garcia, Madison Kelm, Madison Flores, Lauren Newton each had one RBI.
The Lady Dogs were solid in the field defensively and had zero errors in the fi eld.
Riley White pitched a no hitter. She allowed zero hits, had 11 strikeouts, and one HBP.
