Riley White didn’t allow a single run and just one hit as the No. 2 Thorndale Lady Dogs defeated Bartlett 16-0 on Tuesday to improve to 9-1-1.
White also led the Lady Dogs to victory by driving in five runs, going 2-for-2 at the plate.
White drove in runs on a triple in the second and a home run in the third.
Thorndale opened up scoring in the first inning, when Jordyne Bigan doubled on a 0-1 count, plating two runs.
The Lady Dogs scored seven runs in the second inning, led by a walk by Madison Kelm, a triple by White, a single by Allison Betak, and a double by Bailey White.
White struck out seven and walked none.
Thorndale saw the ball well, racking up nine hits in the game.
Madison Flores and White had multiple hits, while White and Flores each collected two hits to lead Thorndale.
