With the University Interscholastic League (UIL) requiring schools to limit their spectators to 50% plus social distancing for the 2020-2021 season, RHS will not have season tickets this year. However, those that purchased tickets will be allowed to keep their seats for the following year.
RHS plan for home tickets is to allow Varsity football players, cheerleaders, band, trainers and Golden Girls to have the opportunity to purchase a limited number of tickets first for their families. Remaining tickets plus tickets that families don’t want will be put aside for the community to purchase on a first come, first serve basis. All seats will be general admission $5.00 each. RHS will send out more information once they have final numbers.
“We apologize for having to limit the seats, because we know how much you all love our Rockdale Tiger football team,” Rockdale Superintendent Denise Monzingo said. “COVID-19 has caused many disruptions and changes to our school system. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
