Officials at Rockdale High School found out Tuesday that a member of the varsity boys basketball team tested positive for COVID-19.
“Our entire boys varsity basketball team is in quarantine until next week,” said Denise Monzingo, the district superintendent.
Once the boy’s condition was known on Tuesday, the district looked at videos to check to see who the player had been in contact with outside of his team members. Those students were informed of the boy’s test results.
