Both the Rockdale Dubs (above) and the Thorndale Elite (below) are headed to the Texas Teenage Association of Softball’s 15-and-Under State Tournament in Athens and will play from July 5-9. The Elite won the district tournament in McGregor and the Dubs placed third behind second place Cameron Storm. Due to state being approximately 150 miles away, both teams will have accommodation, food and fuel costs.
