After two weeks of being in quarantine, the RHS hoopers were back in action on Tuesday against the Cameron Yoemen.
Their return failed to live up to the hype as they were defeated 100- 48. Braden Thomas led all Tiger scorers with 21 points. Other scorers included Robert Owens 9, Chris Perez 6 and Adrian Rubio 6.
“It was good to see the boys and be with the team again,” RHS Head Coach Marcus McNeil said. “As far as our play, we allowed Cameron to dictate what we do. We have to get the boys to realize that we can’t let other teams decide our outcome. We’re going to continue to work and get everything jelled together. The guys still have great attitudes and are willing to be coached. As long as we continue to play hard, I feel like we’ll be okay.”
The Tigers will look to get their first win of the season as they prepare to face the Bellville Brahmas on Tuesday at home.
