Lady Tigers make post-season for second straight year

On Tuesday evening, the Lady Tiger volleyball team concluded district play with a loss to Cameron at Tiger Gym, 21-25, 17-25, 25-22, 21-25.
Despite the loss, the Blue-and-Gold advanced to the post-season and will face Lorena, the Texas Girls Coaches Association’s sixth-ranked team in Class 3A.
As of press time, a time and place hasn’t been determined for their bi-district matchup.
ACADEMY—This past Friday, the Blue-and-Gold defeated Academy for the second time this season, 25-12, 23-25, 25-18, 25-15.
