For more than a week now, the Rockdale High School cross country team has been running around town and getting back into gear for the 2021 season.
Although both teams missed out on the regional meet last season, both the Tigers and Lady Tigers only lost a total of two seniors.
The Tigers also have sophomore Jesus Bocanegra returning who won a district championship last season as a freshman. For the Lady Tigers, 2019 state qualifier Ivanna Luna Hernandez is slated to lead the crew.
FIRST MEET—Both teams will host their own meet, Friday, Aug. 20, in Rockdale.
