Blue-and-Gold volleyball lost at home late Friday afternoon to Academy 22-25, 23,25, 18-25.
The Lady Tigers beat the Lady Bees earlier this season on Sept. 13—25-16, 17-25, 22-25, 25-22, 15-8—at Academy.
LAST WEEK— Three days before their match with AHS, Rockdale battled with rival Cameron across on the other side of the Little River, where the Lady Yoe took the match in a tie-breaker, 23-25, 12-25, 25-20, 27-25, 11-15.
THIS WEEK— The Lady Tigers traveled to Lexington on Tuesday after press time and return home to face McGregor on Friday.
Rockdale beat the Lady Bulldogs in their last matchup, 3-1.
RHS is 2-8 in district play and currently sits in sixth place.
First set is schedule to take place at 4:30 p.m. Junior varsity games will start after.
