Last month, 21 Rockdale Tiger football players earned District 11-3A-I honors following the conclusion of the 2021 season.
First-team selections are Kobe Mitchell (receiver), Jake Hasselbach (offensive lineman), Lane Rickman (OL), Cruz San Migel (linebacker) and Davioun Scott (LB).
The Tigers had just as many second-team selections with Blaydn Barcak (quarterback), Scott (running back), Gerren Marrero (defensive back), Chris Huff (LB) and Rickman (defensive lineman).
Defensive honorable mentions are Chad David, Scott Penny, Gavin Aguilar, Mitchell, Cade Pantaleon, Isaiah Sauls, Riley Spears, Za-kori Yanez, Wyatt Windham and Tristan Galvan.
Offensive honorable mentions are Robert Owens, Windham, Marrero, Jose Aboytes, Noah Pastrano, Spears and Hayden Aguilar.
Hasselbach, Gavin Aguilar, Spears, Windham, Pantaleon and Barcak earned academic all-district honors for maintaining a grade-point average of 90 or above.
