After experiencing a string of double-digit losses, the Lady Tigers fought hard at the Cameron Tournament this past weekend,
Although they had they lost three games, they were all close matches with a 1-0 loss to Academy, 2-0 to Florence and 2-0 to Madisonville.
With not many of the same girls from the 2019 group, this year’s Lady Tigers are a younger team with many freshmen who never played organized soccer before the current season.
THIS WEEK–The Lady Tigers played Florence for the second time this week after press time on Tuesday.
They have Friday off from competition, but return to action at Tiger Stadium on Tuesday, Jan. 21, against the Jarrell Lady Cougars.
TIGERS–The Tigers had an open date Friday and last played in Giddings on Tuesday where they lost 6-0.
They play in the Cameron Yoe Tournament this weekend.
Their first game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m., against Jarrell on Thursday.
On Friday, they have a double-header with a small break. First, they play Marlin at 2:30 p.m., before taking on Lamar-Rice Consolidated at 6.
