Earlier this month, former Rockdale athlete Ross Loth was named to the Academic Dean’s List at Fort Worth’s Texas Wesleyan University after obtaining a 4.0 grade-point average this semester.
The Class of 2020 graduate was a starting wide receiver for the Tigers with 20.8 yards per reception and seven touchdowns during his senior year with 20 catches for 417 yards.
He also qualified for the 2019 Class 3A state golf tournament as a medalist and was on his way back there before COVID-19 canceled the season.
He is the son of Thomas and Julie Loth of Comanche and grandson of Carroll and Sandy Glaser of Rockdale.
