On Saturday, many former Rockdale High School players gathered at their old home field to play in the Rockdale Alumni Baseball Fundraiser game.
The afternoon featured prominent Tiger alums such as RHS Class of ‘89 grad Vincent Jimenez, who went on to play minor league baseball in the Atlanta Braves farm system and many others who wore the Blue-and-Gold over the years.
The “New School” team beat the “Old School” 7-5 and Class of 2019 grad Jackson Perry won the event’s home run derby.
Organizers were Class of 2008 graduates Bobby Joe Tindle and Wesley Gerren and supporters included the Piano Bar, Debault Welding, Di-Hard Fitness, Perry and Perry Builders, Texas Pride Mobile RV Service, RHS Baseball Alumni players, family and friends, and the Ruiz and Reyes families.
