Lady Tiger basketball team played two days in a row last week.
First, they hit the road last Monday to face Class 4A Jarrell, who won 60-38. The Blue-and-Gold got back on the yellow dog the next day to take on Class 2A Moody, who beat RHS 33-26.
THIS WEEK—After facing Normangee for their Tiger Gymnasium opener on Tuesday after press time, Rockdale will travel again to make their tournament debut as they head to Snook, where they will play Thursday through Saturday.
TIGERS—W h i le t he Lady Tigers were in Moody, the Tigers took on Bartlett who beat the Tigers by one in Rockdale’s first game of the season.
THIS WEEK—T h e Tigers also start their tournament portion of the pre-season with games at Jewett-Leon High School.
On Thursday, they face Normangee at 9 a.m. and Latexo at noon.
Friday, they take on San Antonio Lutheran, who is traveling more than 200 miles to play in the tournament, at 4:30. Saturday’s game times are dependent on whether Rockdale performs in pool play.
