After falling 25-17 in their opening set with Caldwell, Lady Tiger coach Kelsey Hudson made a few adjustments on defense which helped her team rally to win three straight sets 25-12, 25-22, 25-17, to get their fourth district win and avenge a tie-breaker loss to the Lady Hornets on Sept. 14.
“I am very proud of all of the girls on my team,” she said. “They have a lot of heart and keep on fighting.”
THIS WEEK—After press time Tuesday evening, the Lady Tigers faced Florence.
On Friday, they travel to Rogers for a crucial game with the Lady Eagles.
Rockdale beat the other RHS 25-22, 25-19, 22-25, 25-21 on Sept. 24, in a game where Lady Tiger senior Haven Jimenez went down with a season-ending injury during the second set.
Game time with the Lady Eagles is 4:30 p.m.
