Rockdale’s powerlifting team competed in the Cameron Yoe Invitational in Cameron on Saturday.
“This was a large event with several 5A schools competing and our kids did extremely well,” according to Coach Morgan Laughlin.
Lady Tiger Elizabeth Perry came in third place in the 148 weight class and broke her own school record by squatting 335.
Shelly Segovia came in fourth place in the 220 weight class and she set a personal record with a deadlift of 310.
In the boy’s division Tigers Ethan Stanley came in fourth place in the 132 weight class and Dylan Jones came in fifth place in the 165 class.
